Trikoupis Museum

The Trikoupis Museum is housed in a mansion building, where the historian Spyridon Trikoupis was born and lived. His son, Charilaos, a politician and often Prime Minister of our country, also lived in the same house. The building was built in 1840 by the uncles of Char. Trikoupi, Apostolos and Themistoklis and is located directly opposite the Palamas Museum. The house was donated to the Municipality of Messolonghi by the descendant of the Trikoupis family, former Member of Parliament K. Trikoupis and functions as a museum. Memoirs of the Trikoupis family, personal items and photographs are exhibited in its rooms.
