The rich collection of the Museum of Udine, which narrates the traditions and folklore of the Friulian land, includes a section dedicated to regional music, dance, and popular song. On display are ancient musical instruments, including a spinet and a psaltery, and instruments used in traditional festivals, such as the "liròn" (double bass), the accordion, the violin, and the raganelle (rattles).
