After the eighteenth-century decoration of the church was lost to an earthquake in 1928, the decoration of the apse was entrusted to the painter Renzo Tubaro from Codroipo in 1960. Inspired by the lost Tiepolo-style frescoes, Tubaro reproduced a flight of musician angels strongly characterised by bright and gentle colours.
