The council chamber on the upper floor of the city Lodge was used to host performances and concerts as early as 1558 and was finally set up as a public theatre in the late eighteenth century and until the 1920s. Careful recovery and restoration work ultimately made it available to citizens once more in 2006. The theatre is named after the musician Gian Giacomo Arrigoni from San Vito.
