Stairs of Patreos Street
The stairs of Patreos Street are located in the center of the city of Patras and connect the homonymous street with Agios Georgios Square. These are the first stairs in the city, built in 1873 and put into use after 8 years. They have 93 steps and are built of marble, while they were used as a means of connecting the Upper City with the Lower. They are now a meeting place and rest for the residents, enjoying the wonderful view of the city and the sea from above. This point of interest is Plain and Urban. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
