Corte d'Aibo

Corte d'Aibo was born in 1989, from the "crazy" project of two friends: Antonio Capelli and Mario Pirondini, who decided to return to live in the hills and produce wine following organic farming.

Since then, Corte d'Aibo has grown, and today it is a 34-hectare winery with 13 labels in its catalogue, as well as an agriturismo with a restaurant, 12 rooms and a biolago.

An agriturismo and an organic winery in the heart of the protected regional park of the Abbey of Monteveglio, in the hills a few kilometers from Bologna. Among endless vineyards, wheat fields and fruit trees, interspersed with the typical "Bolognese red" of the blocks, in Corte d'Aibo nature and agriculture coexist in full harmony.

Organic farming, wine culture

Immediately the goal was to produce wines that told the territory, without necessarily inventing something new, but finding a way to enhance the natural characteristics of the grape.

Hence the choice of organic and biodynamic agriculture, the use of terracotta amphorae, the reduction or elimination of added sulphites.

Naturally, the vines also speak of the territory: from the autochthonous Pignoletto to the Barbera, up to the internationals now at home in the Colli Bolognesi.
